
Mushroom Coffee Tiramisu
This is the perfect holiday dessert with a twist.... mushrooms! I bet no one will expect to get their daily dose of functional mushrooms in a delicious tiramisu.
Ingredients:
Lady finger biscuits
Mascarpone cream
Life Cykel’s Organic Mushroom Coffee
Frangelico (optional)
Vanilla essence
3 eggs
Method:
Separate the egg yolks from the egg whites
Beat the egg whites thoroughly until fluffy
Mix together the egg yolks, sugar and mascarpone
Fold through the egg whites gently
Brew up a batch of Life Cykel’s Organic Mushroom Coffee
Add Frangelico (optional)
Dip lady finger biscuits in the coffee
Layer dish with lady fingers
Spread layer of cream mixture
Repeat!
Sprinkle the top layer with cocoa and decorate as you wish
